1. About these terms
These terms apply to all quotes issued by Safe Way Demolition and any work we perform for you. By accepting a written quote you agree to these terms. Use of this website is also governed by these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are based on the information you provide and a visual site inspection. Quotes exclude latent conditions (e.g. undiscovered asbestos, contaminated soil, hidden services) unless explicitly stated. Variations will be quoted in writing before work proceeds.
3. Site access & safety
You warrant that you have authority to grant us access to the site and have disclosed all known hazards. Our crew has full authority on site to halt works if a safety risk is identified. Adjoining-property notifications, dilapidation reports and council/WorkSafe permits are arranged by Safe Way unless agreed otherwise.
4. Asbestos
All asbestos removal is performed by appropriately licensed personnel and disposed of at licensed facilities. Disposal certificates are provided on request. Any friable asbestos discovered after quoting will trigger a written variation before removal proceeds.
5. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, a deposit is payable on acceptance, with the balance due on practical completion. Overdue invoices accrue interest at the RBA cash rate + 4% p.a. and recovery costs are payable by the customer.
6. Insurance & liability
Safe Way Demolition holds $20m public liability insurance and all required workers' compensation cover. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the works performed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel a booked job by giving 5 business days' written notice. Costs already incurred (permits, mobilisation, sub-contractor commitments) are payable.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
